To the Supporters
The publication of my first book would not have been possible without the support — physical, financial, metaphysical, spiritual, and emotional — of old and new friends, former schoolmates, bosses, fellow writers (present or future), friends of friends, blood relatives or not, and a few distinguished (still) strangers who took an interest in my project and kindly contributed to its realization.
Many ignored my project, others paid it no mind, but my true friends embraced the cause — even those who couldn’t support me directly at least praised the initiative and wished me good luck. Other people, who didn’t know me, whether through the influence of friends or their own discovery, generously placed their trust in me. And what about the old friends and acquaintances from long ago? I feel immense joy when I think about how I made a positive mark in their lives, enough for them to unexpectedly appear and support my project.
It’s ironic that, having become a writer, I find it difficult to find the right words to express my emotions and thank everyone appropriately.
